About the T.E.A.L.® Walk/Run™ Program
The T.E.A.L.® Walk™ Program includes Walk events that celebrate the courage of ovarian cancer survivors and the strength of the families who’ve been touched by the disease, while spreading awareness to the public and raising money for research.
The name of the T.E.A.L.® Walk/Run™ Program refers both to teal, the color that symbolizes ovarian cancer, and to the 501C3 not-for-profit organization that established the events, Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer Louisa M. McGregor Ovarian Cancer Foundation also Known As T.E.A.L.®. Founded by two sisters from Brooklyn, NY in 2009, with a passion to draw attention to ovarian cancer, T.E.A.L.® has become a national movement.
