Savannah Baseball Fundraiser

This April, ®T.E.A.L.’s Savannah supporters organized an Ovarian Cancer Fundraiser at the Savannah Sand Gnats vs. the Charleston River dogs Baseball game. Led by Mandy Irvin, the volunteer organizer of the Annual Savannah ®T.E.A.L. Walk, the group was able to sell tickets for this Baseball fundraiser and raise over $560 towards ®T.E.A.L. Mandy’s Aunt Stacey, a 2-year Ovarian Cancer survivor,  was able to throw out the first pitch of the game. The announcers for the Savannah Sand Gnats gave a special shout out about the 2nd Annual Savannah ®T.E.A.L. Walk coming up this September 19, 2015! An awareness table before the game was set up where the volunteers shared educational materials  for the game attendees as well as flyers for the upcoming Savannah walk. We want to thank Mandy for organizing such a successful fundraiser and the Mets (owners of the Savannah Sand Gnats) for supporting yet another Ovarian Cancer Fundraiser.
